These song stories came to me from the Kisatchie Hills and Cane River Country of Natchitoches, Louisiana, and the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas.

This album is a revision of some of my past work together with some new songs.  I recorded these in my studio near the Buffalo River using acoustic and electric guitars, my 1972 Fender Music Master bass, and an occasional drum track to try to capture the original voices in my head.  Thanks to Rick Woodward, my Hoodoo Papas partner, for the rhythm guitar and bass on four tracks as noted.  Thanks, Rick!
